The Kenilworth Square Project involved the renovation of a Victorian family home in South Dublin, reimagining the property for contemporary family life while celebrating its original architectural character.

Porcha Design was appointed to develop the interiors throughout the home, creating a scheme that balanced period detailing with modern comfort. The brief was to deliver a family-focused home that felt timeless, welcoming and practical, while introducing personality, colour and bespoke elements throughout.

A carefully considered material palette was developed to complement the home's original features, incorporating natural stone, timber, decorative lighting and custom-designed joinery. Bespoke furniture and upholstery pieces were integrated throughout the project, alongside carefully selected fabrics, artwork and decorative accessories that add depth and individuality to each room.

Particular attention was given to the kitchen and family living spaces, ensuring the home supported modern family routines while maintaining a strong connection to the building's Victorian proportions and architectural heritage. Bathrooms were designed to feel both elegant and functional, with layered materials and carefully detailed finishes creating spaces that feel calm and enduring.

Throughout the project, Porcha Design developed bespoke joinery solutions, coordinated finishes and materials, and curated furnishings that reflect the character of the homeowners while respecting the history of the building. The result is a family home that combines period charm with contemporary living, creating spaces that are both beautiful and highly functional.
